In 2005, she won a competition concerning literary diary: Day by Day, organized by Zwierciadlo Magazine. For two years she was writing feuilletons for this magazine, under the common title "Village by the sea".In 2007 she published her first book "Sen Zielonych Powiek" (Dream of the Green Eyelids", which is now being translated into German, English and Norwegian.In 2008, she took part in the creation of "Dziewczynskie Bajki na dobranoc" (Girls` fairytales for good night), which are written by 18 writers from all over Poland.During spring 2009, her next novel "Kamieniczka" (A Stonehouse), will be found in the book-stores.2009 will also be a year with starting up the next project. She have been invited by Amea publisher, to contribute in another antology, considering issues of patriotism.Together with Thomas Gudbrandsen she is also working as a photographer, specialized in Wedding Photojournalism for etphotography.
Edyta Szalek lives in the city of Bergen, on Norway`s west-coast, while the job is created all over the world.

After several years as an director in different companies in Norway and China, it was time for his passion to become the fulltime "love". 20 years of shooting street and documentary has given him an eye for the reality, in a world that is driven by words created in hope of becoming the reality. A picture dosn´t lie.
Every picture "is" something.....the trick is only to let the viewer also see the story, or at least have the chance to create his own story of what he see.Thomas Gudbrandsen lives in Bergen, and together with Edyta Szalek his performance of art is done all over the world.
